Julianne Post, Founder and Director

Julianne graduated from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey in 2010. Her degree is a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a piano pedagogy, philosophy, and business minor. While in school she performed at various venues like Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall in New York City. Her area of expertise is advanced classical repertoire.

Upon graduation, Julianne moved to the Hampton Roads area and pursued a career in law hoping to someday become an entertainment lawyer and defend musicians in copyright laws. After finding out how different the law field actually is, she chose to pursue her true passion: teaching piano. She worked for numerous studios, homeschool co-ops, and in her home studio for three years, then Frank (her husband) and Julianne opened a debt free business called The Music Post.

The Music Post is unlike anything in Hampton Roads, offering quality instruction by instructors who are passionate about their field and offering lessons that are tailored to every student. Her goal is to be a light to every family that walks through the door and provide the opportunity for students to discover their passion in music.
