Federation Festival 2024

Students of The Music Post are welcome to participate in the National Federation of Music Festivals. Each year musicians in the Hampton Roads area gather to host this opportunity for students to perform for judges, receive feedback, and earn awards for their work. Students will prepare two memorized pieces to perform for two judges. Students will receive a score of superior or below and earn rewards for multi-year performances. Please talk to your instructor if you are interested in participating in this opportunity. 
Date: Saturday, March 2, 2024 
Location: CNU

Guild 2024 

Students of The Music Post are welcome to participate in Guild which is held by the American College of Musicians. A certified judge is sent to The Music Post to give students feedback on their programs. A student's program is intended to be a culmination of what they have learned all year ranging from 3-20 memorized pieces. Students can earn awards including certificates, pins, and plaques for their work.
