Kindermusik 

This program will feature 40 minutes of rhythm building exercises, singing and vocal play, instrument exploration and storytime! This program is recommended for ages newborn to 4 with caregivers. Children learn important skills through music including motor skills, cognitive development, pre-math skills, confidence, social skills, and so much more. If you feel your child is past the development stage of doing a class with their caregiver please look into our Wunderkeys program.

Summer Piano Club
Ages 3-5

Piano Club is a group piano program at The Music Post! This foundational program will have students tapping steady beats, learning about their favorite wunderbie characters, and training their ear to actively listen. This is perfect for students just starting piano and wanting to learn in an approachable way with on the bench and off the bench activities to reinforce their knowledge of the piano. In just 60 minutes a week, students will be able to identify long vs. short sounds, how many sounds, and their play their favorite wunderbie characters on the group of two and three black keys. 

This semester includes:

Piano Club is a group piano program at The Music Post! This class gives students the opportunity to build their piano skills in an affordable and dynamic class environment. Our supportive group offers encouragement, with a bit of motivational competitiveness to keep students engaged and progressing at their perfect speed. Students will be learning on top notch instruments like grand pianos. Our students will be challenged with weekly practice incentives, encouraging them to regularly practice and stay engaged without you having to nag them! Our curriculum is approachable for their level and engaging so that students can easily understand musical concepts and have confidence in tackling all of the music skills. Students must have a piano to take this class.

Discover Music 

Can't choose which instrument you want to play but want exposure to music? This is the perfect program for you! Discover Music is all about empowering your student to make the right decision before investing money into an instrument. Your student will learn how to read music on the staff and foundational music symbols. They'll gain confidence knowing which composer is their favorite along with the musical era and backstory. You child will come feeling curious and leave feeling delighted in knowing they chose the perfect instrument for them to pursue for the future. 

This 6 week Semester will feature:
6 Group Lessons (45 Minutes per week)
Training on note reading, ensemble playing, rhythm building, music theory
Introduction to Guitar, Ukulele, Piano, Percussion, Flute, Voice, & Violin
Introduction to the four major musical eras and composers
Mini Showcase at the end of the semester 
Personalized Evaluation report on strengths/weaknesses and recommended instrument

Intro to Piano

Do you have a student interested in piano but you're unsure about making that investment? We understand! Getting a piano is a BIG investment! This camp is perfect to introducing your student to the piano to see if they really enjoy it. We'll learn all about the piano, famous composers, different eras of music, how to play chords, improve, compose, and how to read music all in one week.

Intro to Guitar 

Strum into summer at our 'Intro to Guitar' camp, where campers will discover the magic of music through the strings of a guitar! This camp is tailored for beginners or students who want an ensemble experience. This camp will provide a comprehensive introduction to the guitar, including basic chords, strumming patterns, and musical styles. Through hands-on lessons and fun activities, campers will learn to play melodies and songs, developing a strong foundation in guitar playing. Our experience instructors will guide students through each step, ensuring a supportive and engaging learning environment. By the end of camp, students will have not only learned to play the guitar but also gained a deeper appreciation for music and its power to connect us all. 

Schedule is 9am-3pm. Students must bring their own lunch and two snacks.

Intro to Voice

Join us for a harmonious adventure at our three-day vocal summer camp, designed especially for young aspiring singers ages 6-11! In this interactive camp, students will explore the exciting world of singing through games, activities, and vocal exercises. Our experience vocal coaches will teach campers the basics of vocal technique, breathing exercises, and how to use their voices expressively. Students will also learn patriotic and folk tunes and participate in group singing activities to build confidence and teamwork skills. This camp will culminate in a special performance on the last day where students have the option of showcasing what they learned throughout the week. Don't miss this opportunity to sing, learn, and make new friends in a supportive and creative environment.

Intro to Flute 
​Ages 9-13 

Welcome to our 'Intro to Flute' camp, where aspiring musicians will embark on a musical journey with the enchanting sound of the flute! This camp is perfect for beginners who are curious about learning the flute or for students wanting an ensemble experience. Through interactive lessons and ensemble playing, campers will learn the fundamentals of flute technique, music theory, and ensemble performance. Our experience instructors will provide individualized attention to help each camper develop their skills and confidence. By the end of the camp, campers will have not only improved their flute playing but also forged lasting friendships with fellow music lovers. Join us for a week of music, creativity, and flute-filled fun! 
Schedule is 9am-3pm. Students must bring their own lunch and two snacks.

Dragon Piano Camp

Our three day Dragon Piano camp is a blast for students just getting into piano! We'll go through beginner piano technique and introduce them to improvisation, composition, and even performing their own recital on the last day. Students will prepare songs out of our Dragon book and record for friends and family to enjoy over the 4th of July Holiday! 

Camp will be 9:30am-12:30pm
