Film Music Master Class
Master Classes are for current students only. Registration must be complete at least 48 hours prior to class. Class price is $10.00 unless the student has a makeup on their account. Limit of 12 students per class. To register please checkout with a quantity of 1 in your cart.
This master class is geared for all students! This class will focus on different film scores, what types of musical concepts are essential for film music, and different intervals in music that help create suspense. This class will also work on ear training of intervals. Miss Julie will present different film scores from John Williams and compare it to classical music to show different musical techniques that are used to create suspenseful, happy, or sad motives. We'll also talk about how music was used in silent films back in the day.
